Recognised Prior Learning

Recognised prior learning ("RPL") is an acceptance that one may have gained knowledge and skills from many sources. RPL is a process that enables one to demonstrate the achievement of knowledge and skills and relate these to the learning outcomes associated with units of the training program in order to achieve unit status/training/exemption.

Knowledge and skills may be derived from:

  • Work and life experiences;

  • Training programs and informal learning programs;

  • Recognisedcourses and training programs;

  • Any other source determined by Suburban Contact Centre Training Services from time to time.

Suburban may choose to conduct an interview if it deems it appropriate to properly and effectively assess an application for RPL. Suburban may choose to delegate its responsibilities to an assessment panel.
